My band has moved from Eb to Drop Db recently and I can't think of a song to cover live that's in that tuning. I considered doing a normal Drop D song but in Drop Db instead, but most people don't react very well to that. Please don't suggest Almost Easy, m'kay. I personally like the song but my singer hates it and would refuse to ever sing like that. It needs to be metal with no whiney vocals, not too difficult (think RATM) and is popular. Sorry, I just can't think of anything. Please help us, thanks.

I like Alice in Chains and so does the singer, but I'm not sure he'd perform one. Also, we have 2 guitarests, so something with 2 guitars would be great.

Same with Ozzy and Nirvana. Plus, it has to be METAL

Are these songs pretty easy? Never heard them.

Sounds like you need a more versatile singer... but seriously, why not play standard drop D songs? When my band switched from drop D to drop C, all it did was make us sound heavier, and in many cases easier to sing. Sure, you don't want to sing so low that you lose power, but come on, a half-note down? That's not much, in fact a whole lot of bands play a half step down on longer tours to save their voices.

Find the real isn't too hard but unless your sweeping and alternate picking chops are up to standard the lead parts of Psalm of Lydia will present significant difficulties, sorry I completely missed the "easy" part.

If your singer is so fussy, ask him what songs to play. You're just wasting people's time here.

if Db is the same as C#, play some Behemoth

It is but no; Behemoth play in C# standard, not drop C#.

Avenged Sevenfold play in Drop D, one song in Standard, and two songs in Drop C.

Anyways, learn Sentenced To Burn - Cannibal Corpse.

Fun, easy, and Drop Db.
