This may sound weird, but during the last few days, i've only been practicing some lap tapping. Eventually, without realising it, i cut my finger on a string while tapping a harmonic on the 12th fret. I didn't notice and kept playing. Now i realise that my finger was pissing blood, and that there is blood all over the area of the 12th fret, and even some on the body! Is there any way to clean this without damaging my guitar? Thanks

it won't come off with elbow grease and a wet paper towel? i don't think that would harm your guitar.

Remind me to never play your guitar! Blood bourne pathogens anybody?

Threadstarter, just use some rubbing alcohol on a lint free cloth to remove all traces of the blood. Then treat the fretboard with some sort of fretboard conditioner as the alcohol will tend to dry out the wood.

Thanks, it's taken care of

There's a little bit on the body but it won't come off. Doesn't bother me too much though
