Somebody talking through a vocoder - as in not with a guitar.

I suppose this isn't as bad as the time someone asked what effects they used to get the thunderstorm sound at the beginning of Black Sabbath...

I met a dead seagull today. He was really sad

But I took pictures for my next demo cover! ^^

So. It's a vocoder with distortion, at the best guess.
Don't you hate it that they used that part in the Iron Man movie trailer but not in the movie? :/

I know Ozzie sometimes used a Leslie to record vocals through, maybe a leslie maxed out? Otherewise I have no idea. Were Vocoders around back then?
