My current set up is:

Epiphone Les Paul Custom, running through

Boss Comp/Sust, Boss OS-2, Pro-Co Rat 2, Marshall Reflector, Boss DD-3 delay.

Which runs into a Fender Blues Junior with a broken reverb tank.

Anywayyyyyyyy, I was wondering if I need a Tech 21 SansAmp GT2 pedal. I've wanted the tone of my favorite bands like Interpol and The Weakerthans for the longest time.

Even if you don't know who they are, watch this video for like 4 seconds and listen to the tone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQ0H2_sx7tM&feature=related

For those who don't care about my personal enjoyments, I guess my question is

"If I buy this pedal, will it alter my tone more than just the Pro-Co Rat, and will I not regret it?"

sanamp is an amp modeler with speaker emulation...it would sound great for direct recoding or straight to pa. dont know how it will sound thru a blues junior

I have one and I love it. Haven't played the pro cat but the sansamp is definitely worth the money. Listen to some of my songs in my profile. The brand is not that famous though but definitely theyre better than famous brands.
