Just want to make sure: After I wired everything, if the amp makes beautiful musical sound without blowing up, I did everything correctly, right?

who cares? if it works just play through it.

and i'd say yeah.

What i worried is reversing the polarity of the speaker. Just want to make sure: tip goes to "+" of the speaker, and sleeve goes to "-" of speaker, right?

Er, you can reverse the polarity of a speaker and it doesn't "hurt" anything.
It just might sound funny.

With a single speaker, polarity is irrelevant. But if you are running multiple speakers, you should wire them all the same way. I think you have them oriented correctly.
