anyone know any good albums that are guitar based, but not just the obvious rock type stuff - adcd, guns, things like that.

its just i was thinking the other day that most rock stuff is pretty much the same, so i fancied having a do at something that wasn't just the clunky power chord deal. any cool stuff?

If you want some experimental stuff, look at different genres.

The Horrors guitar bits are quite unique, cause the guy modifies his pedals and stuff himself, but meh, just hop about genres.

The other Beck. Jeff Beck is awesome too though, if a little more samey by comparison.

Hit this once or twice, and you'll be twice as nice.

Yeah, it's why i suggested him, if you dont like the tracks on one album, chances are you'll like some on another.

Oh really? How come?

Not tried that pick up, but the Fender JB Single Noiseless Coil set is pretty nice. Maybe not worth the asking price, although I've only used them on one set tone. Very natural and clean though, I'd rate them!
