I put new strings on my jackson solo 3 months ago and they seem real tight. i thought it just might be that they are new so after a month of playing on them they still feel tight. why is it when I brought it some where and had them do a tune up on it and they put new strings on it they are nice and loose. am I doing somthing wrong?

either you bought a different gauge or brand, brand does have a difference in terms of string tension if you don't change the setup of the bridge.
