Alright, so I have been really interested in getting a cheap hollowbody, Gretsch guitar. Now I have found the model I like - the Electromatic series. The problem is the body type. I can either go with the Single cutaway, G5120, or the dub cut, G5122. I have yet to go to a guitar shop that is a Gretsch dealer since work is very busy. I'm not a country musician, more bluesy and rock so I don't really want a country lookin' guitar. And yes I know some hollows can make you look country. But see if I go with the single cut I can get it in Orange (to me looks pretty cool), black, or I'd go with a dark cherry. If I get the dub cut I would end up getting black because Walnut Satin...I don't want a brown guitar.

Plus I already have a double cut at home in blue burst but its going to hit the wall soon.

Any suggestions??? It's most appreciated.

hmm well I'd get them if they had a bigsby or vibrato piece.

I need to get a picture posted at some point...

Cheap hollow? I like Epiphone ES-335. They're either hollow or semi hollow, can't remember.

oof, $1,300 is a little much for my wallet size. I was thinking more in the 500-700 price range
