Pinetop Perkins celebrated his 95th birthday on July 7th. I wonder what the blues music scene would have been like if Robert Johnson and so many others had lived for another forty or fifty years.

I read last night in 'Deep Blues' (Robert Palmer's book on blues history) that Johnson may have been just about to move to electric guitar which would have produced some interesting recordings.
