Around 300-400 euros. I play Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth but lately I'm really into melodeath, and want to write and play songs like In Flames, Dark Tranquility etc... So, which guitar fits the bill best guys? And I don't want a rip off you know, but something to give me a bang for my buck, know what I'm saying?

ESP are pretty high priced in Europe.

I'd probably go with a Washburn of some sort, but not sure what all you guys have available to you over there.

LTD EC-500
Schecter Hellraiser
Jackson Pro/MG Series

All way over his price range unless he finds a nice one used.

The best deal you can get would be on a ibanez, like the one helsinki vampire said or one of these:

http://www.thomann.de/nl/ibanez_rg321mhrb.htm

Or an ESP LTD

This Jackson if you save a bit more

Try them out and see which one you like the best

look when it comes to playing styles i believe any guitar could pull of anything with the right setup so theres ganna be a number of opinions to wich one is better for metal.

its stupid to say that an ibanez would be better for metal than a epi custom or whatever.
mainly its the amp that gives you the sound your looking for if you ask me guitar and pups are just like sprinkles on icecream.

the icecream(amp) is what matters the most in flavor if you have a **** flavored icescream chocalate sprinkles and gummy worms arent ganna do much to make it better.

baisicly what im saying is, is that your not ganna get your answear on any forum its up to you, go play the frieken guitars its not that hard is it now.
