Hi all,

Ive now been looking for a week now on the web to find the amp settings for the Pigeon Detectives.

I know they use mostly strat kind of pickups, but as for the settings i have no clue.

Also i noticed them playing through an orange amp at Glasto??

Could anyone help me?

its probably not the settings you're after, its the more than likely the effects, the amp settings are standard indie more than likely...

You really need a tube amp to really get the sound.

But, low to mid gain, a bit of treble, not too much bass, mids @ 5 -7. Depends on what you prefer.

i know i really want a tube amp, but just cant afford it yet. One day. Thanks ill try that.

It does seem that when i play these songs the chords are good through the amp, but single notes (like the PD do in the verses and chorus) dont come through very well (not much distortion)

Maybe you should bet a boost pedal, OR get an EQ, and boost the signal during lead/whatever playing.
