Hi guys!
I've decided to start a small blues band, and I'm just curious as to which "must have" pedals I should look out for.
My parents have already said they'll give me £100 towards a pedal(s), but I don't have a job at the mo.
Anyways, yeah!
Just which pedals are good for blues really!
Thanks!

Ibanez tubescreamer.

if you're gigging at all, i'd suggest a floor tuner like the boss TU-2. that way if you out of tune while playing you can tune up silently during the song. gotta get one my self........
Stage Rig

Fender Strat
Epi Les Paul
Taylor 110
Boss TU-2
Omega Amps Hot Rod Deluxe (Dumble mod)
Clean/Drive/More Drive footswitch
Mid boost/Preamp boost footswitch

It might be better to get a good blues amp, but you should check out the MI Audio Blues Pro.

True, you should get a nice amp before any pedals. A nice amp is better than a crappy amp with a nice pedal....

What's your gear right now? It's possible that a new amp'd be a better idea than a pedal. If you've got a good bluesy tube amp, though, I'd suggest an overdrive, a compressor, or (if you're into funky blues) a wah.

What kind of blues? Don't really need a pedal for blues, but a Tubescreamer of some sort, some like the EHX Big Muff Pi (I like teh Russian).

What kind of amp do you have? That'll be a bigger factor.
