Post here for your opinion on this australian band.
What are you favourite songs by them?
Which was your favourite vocalist?
Did you like their old song with breakdowns or there new stuff from Isolation?

Crafter
He did the vocals in there self titled album.
Some stand out songs from his time in Carpathian where:
Holding hands is for girls and Kiss the rings.

Marty
He is the new vocalist for Carpathian
Albums he has done vocal for are Nothing to lose and Wrecked and the new album Isolation which is very different compared to all there other tracks

there new stuff sounds a little like comeback kid but better

i reckon martys voice has softened up a bit since nothing to loose
i still havent decided if thats a good thing or not
#11
^ Marty has softened up as you say, to a more punk style to match the music a bit better. I think its great, but I guess that's because I'm not a huge fan of growls.
#12
yeah dude they definitely have gotten more punk.. i'm starting to get into it even more, i do miss some of their mad break downs though

love this band.

2 songs from isolation are up on their mysapce

just d/l'd Isolation, listened to it on the train today

couple of great tracks but it didn't really get my pulse racing, some of it is so repetitive
#20
I was pretty keen on Isolation when it was coming out, but then I got it and didn't listen to it much. I mean, there are some really good tracks but it's not an album I ever really feel like listening to.
#21
Isolation vocals sound really Have Heart-ish to me.
Especially on the track Ceremony.
I thought I was listening to Have Heart when I came back from the kitchen.
But, I suppose it's good.

Carpthians new album is sooooo good,

For those saying that he has 'softened up' it is because they decided to be sound hardcore then metal; and they did it very well in my opinion.

P.S. seeing them with comeback kid and verse on Thursday.

Also it's great to see an actual hardcore band in the hardcore forum.
