Do any of you have this problem? When I play on the G String on the neck pickup it sounds like cat getting beaten (Or some other simile). I replaced my strings not too long ago, but it still sounds strange. What's the problem? Is it the action, the nut, the bridge, What!?

Is it fret buzz (does it make the sound unplugged?)
Otherwise it may be your neck pup... perhaps a pole is misaligned, broken etc? Try and see if you get the sound on any other pups.

No, there's no buzz. It sound like the tone is off a bit... Like I have chorus effects on that string alone. It's really starting to piss me off.

Edit: And no, it only does that on the neck pup.

Alright, well I don't think anyone here at this moment has the answer so it's about time you headed over to the electric guitar forum. They'll give you some better answers.
