I was searching around for garbage can lids in my garage and found this buried under a pile of stuff.

I asked my dad about it. He used to work at a local music shop and said it was just sitting in the back-room for a while, so he brought it home when the shop closed.

It's missing the bridge, nut, most of the knobs, and probably needs new wiring.

All I can find about it is the brand name. Kent. I can't find a model or serial number anywhere. It looks nice and I'd really love to add a hollow-body or a 12-string to my guitars. Can anyone give me any info on it?

You should definitely fix that up.

Interesting. It turns out that there are people on the forum who play an upright bass. I'll make a note of that.

*makes note*

*puts note on wall*

*stares at note for a minute*

*sits back down and resumes doing what I was doing*

Unbolt the neck and look in the neck cavity or on the neck where it bolts on..on a lot of ibanez and older guitars they will put model numbers and stuff there

No luck with this.

There's a small sticker under one of the F-holes that says like

Model
(unreadable numbers)
KENT
(more unreadable numbers)

If I can scrape some cash together, I'll probably work on fixing this up.
