i'm looking for some songs with a simple chord progression for strumming when i dont dont feel like playing anything complicated.
Rockin' In The Free World, you have to take out the solos though.
Epiphone G-400 Ebony
Line-6 UberMetal, EchoPark
Boss RC-2 Loop Station

Rockin in the Free World by Neil Young is a good suggestion. It's like 3 chords. Actually, any Neil Young song is good -- Heart of Gold or Hey Hey, My My for example.

The same goes for Bob Dylan. Knockin on Heaven's Door is three chords - G, D, C

Last Kiss by Pearl Jam is 4 chords - G, Em, C, D (I think).

Also check out some Oasis songs like D'yer Wanna Be a Spaceman and Songbird.
my my hey hey-neil young
knockin on heavens door-bob dylan
hurricane-bob dylan
all along the watch tower-bob dylan
last kiss-pearl jam
pennyroyal tea-nirvana
hotel california(nice mix of barre chords..idk if you asked for them tho)-the eagles
American Pie by Don McLean.

The chords are: G, F/D, Em, C, Am, D7, D

You should be able to find the chord progression with a google search
Hey Julie - Fountains Of Wayne
In The Aeroplane Over The Sea - Neutral Milk Hotel
Better Together - Jack Johnson

Play until she breaks up with you.

The most brutal band to ever exist is...

You should go like them...even if you don't like them.

"Brian Wilson" by the Barenaked Ladies is awesome, especially if you have a capo to play in the right tuning. Any folk songs (like the ones that have been suggested) are good as well.

"Every Rose Has Its Thorn" by Poison is generally popular as well.

That song from JUNO is pretty fun.
Anyone else but you.
It's fun if you got a friend to sing/play along.
It only uses, G and C chord. Or G and Cadd9.
