My nut on my guitar keeps falling of it gets looser every I plug it in and out. I got a brand new jack installed and it does'nt help. what am I doing wrong?

you can add a locking washer or add locktite product to the screw.

dont hand tighten the jack or you will spin it and rip off the wires.

hold it on the inside and on out.

if you wipe some nail polish remover on it, it will seal it up a little. no joke, mine kept coming loose and i was told to do that and i never had troubles with it again.
