OTS, actually, took me about 20 minutes while i was on the phone with my friend. sorry about any obvious spelling or grammer mistakes. all help apriciated

We all know this sad story,
A cliche misfortune if you will.
A slight laps of judgment,
A mistake that was dressed to kill.

This is my temptress,
She cracked me, she controls me.
She knows exactly what shes doin,
She wears the devil on her sleeve.

It only took one lousy girl,
armed with lies,
Stilettos,
and a killer body.
It only took one moment,
One glance at those piercing eyes,
To break my grip on life.

I thought this is happiness?!
This is the American dream.
This is. This was. This will be.
What we all hope for.
The Temptress.

The stronger they are,
the harder they fall.
And oh, how I crumbled.

I gave trust and love blindly,
I thought it was all i had to offer.
But i was so much more.
I was a man of honor, of pride.
But she took all that with her,
She stole everything i stood for.

This is my temptress,
She cracked me, she controls me.
She knows exactly what shes doin,
She wears the devil on her sleeve.

We're all tempted by the greener grass,
And the happiness that comes with it.
But I'm ashamed I had to make these mistakes
For so long to realize,
That the shade of my grass,
Isn't what makes me happy.

Now im left with only the weight.
The thought.
The sin of it all.
And as i hang my head low,
I now know only two truths.
God Will Forgive..
and...
dont ever trust a woman with two inch stilettos.
They can NOT provide happiness.
