hi everyone got a problem with my jackson for some reason when i put the volume upto 10 on the guitar the sound cuts off and you cant hear anything out of the amp anyone got any idea's whats the problem and how i could fix it myself ?

dirty pot perhaps... or a bad contact strip...

turn it up and down like 20-30 times and see if it comes back... does it crackle? shoot some contact cleaner into it if you have some...

that or the pot is fubar...

i vote pot problem

since it only does it when the volume is all the way up i would bet its the pot

to test this you could replace the pot or just wire it to bypass the pot and see what happens
