Hey guys, I'm looking for a fender stratocaster with a nitro finish as I enjoy the look of a naturally aged guitar. If I could I would build one up from scratch however knowing myself, I would botch the job and it would end up costing me a fortune.

I know that the 62 reissue has a nitro finish, are there any other ones in the similar price range or lower?

MacFries.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

i think the highway one has nitro over poly, so it's not completely nitro (could be wrong though).

i think the vintage reissues are nitro.

high end japanese copies are often nitro too (but be careful as it's a day's work to identify them at times)...
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.
