I'm gonna replace my machine heads on this project i'm doin but i dont know what 1s to get and what size would fit my guitar, how do i find out?

p.s i was lookin at grover rotomatics, are they any good?

You measure the size of the hole in your head stock and then make sure the tuners fit that hole. Stew Mac has all their tuner specs so you can check the hole sizing.

Most tuners are about 10mm

Yes Rotomatics are pretty good.

All tuners, except "vintage style" tuners, have 10mm diameters. vintage style have 11/32" diameters.

18:1 are generally better than 14:1. Locking tuners lock the string in place, which makes the tuning more stable with a tremolo bridge, or if you do lots of string bending.
