I love stand-up comedy as I'm sure many of you do too. Rather than just listing comics you like, try and give a link to a video/sound file of one of their performances, and possibly link more than just Bill Hicks and Richard Pryor (as good as they both are).

Some of my favourites:

Glenn Wool
At Edinburgh and Beyond
At the Comedy Store

Frankie Boyle
These clips are from a programme called Mock The Week.
About Princess Diana
Scottish people
Cities with hydraulic legs

We Are Klang
French Theatre
Edinburgh and Beyond - Part One
Edinburgh and Beyond - Part Two

Stewart Lee
Ang Lee

Dylan Moran
Live at Jongleurs

Dara O Briain
Mixed Marriage

Bill Bailey
Jimmy Carr
Lee Evans
Ross Noble
Rodney Carrington
Frankie Boyle

I thought that dude was fluent, I adore one of his French sketches, the one about how to drop in mundane French phrases taught at school into a real conversation, it slays me:

"Monsieur, avez-vous une chambre?"
"Oui, nous sommes un hotel."
"Le singe est sur la branche."

Typed from memory, learning a foreign language FTW! I love that bit.

Mike Birbiglia's "Two Drink Mike" may be my #1 favorite comedy album/performance ever. I haven't decided yet, though.

Patton Oswalt's "222" performance at the 40 Watt in Athens, GA (from which "Feelin' Kinda Patton" was cut) is one of my all time favorites.

George Carlin's "Occupation: Foole" and "An Evening with Wally Londo Featuring Bill Slaszo" are among my favorite performances by him.

Kyle Cease's "One Dimple" is always classic.

David Cross' "Shut Up, You Fucking Baby!" is good.

"Poppin' the Hood" by The Sklar Brothers is one of the most underrated comedy albums EVER.

And, for a classic, Steve Martin's "Wild and Crazy Guy".
