ok right now im downloading Windows XP Micro (a really really really light version of XP) and i plan to dual boot this with XP executive. but once i download Micro, how do i burn this to a CD so that its bootable?

EDIT: i have Ashampoo Burning studio if that helps

i can try that...but im pretty sure you have to **** with it somehow so that its bootable... i could be wrong...
anyone know for sure?

you have to burn it as a bootable ISO image
using a program like ISOMagic i think ts called

With today's hardware why would you need an extra light version of XP? With all un-necessay processes disabled I've ran it with only 198MB of my page file.

cuz the way i look at it, i can use XP Executive for everythign....and then have MicroXP for like internet (im using an athlon with an assload of ram... that **** should be FAAAAST)

and that way i have a small partition for just doin **** really fast
