Hey everyone, I got my Ibanez PGM301 a few months ago, and I've been putting up with the factory setup for a while now....

There is definately a buzz on the E and A lower frets (1-4ish) and its really starting to bug me more and more every day...

and the action isn't even really that low, which bugs me even more.

I KNOW Mr. Paul Gilbert probably has his action low and a perfect setup and everything, so I have no doubt its just the guitar. I just have no experience with this. and I don't wanna end up ruining my best guitar!

now to the point(finally)

how can I get rid of the buzz, and possibly lower the action in the process... I know its a lot to ask lol but I need help!!!!

remember this is the fixed bridge PGM, so forget tremelo stuff!

THANK YOU!

Drag your guitar to a guitarstore and get it fixed.. You are probably goin' to need a new properly cut Nut.

your best option is to have a skilled guitar tech or luthier to set it up properly.
Ibanez RG321MH (Air Classic/Tone Zone)
Fernandes Telecaster (Twang King/stock bridge pickup)
Blackstar HT-20 (Scumback 55 speaker/ Tung Sol tubes)
TC Electronic Nova Repeater
Lava Cables Clear Connect, Soar and Mini ELC

yeah... things that can cause buzzing can be anywhere from intonation, the nut, the saddles, or even the neck. If the neck is bowed a little it will need a truss rod adjustment and this can cause buzzing
