The G string on my Jackson guitar seems to be giving be trouble...
When I play a note on say, the 15-24th frets, the notes crack up and sound horrid, not at all solid...
But this also affects some of the other lower frets, like the 3rd, 6th... and very fainy open notes.
Its just this string...
Its not the saddles on my bridge, I've changed strings a few times, gauges aswell...

Could it be the frets? none of the other strings seem to be affected though...
Or could it be some else?
Any help would be appreciated!

Not not the strings.
When you fret the 15th or 14th fret put your eye level with the neck and check to see if the string it touching the next fret.
If thats the case your fretboard isn't made to top quality. No offense.

There may also be another reason:
How long have you been playing the guitar for? you may not be depressing the fret enough or properly. That would make a really horrible sound.
