I'd say jogging.I ride my bike to my g/f's house, whcih takes like an hour, and seriously, the jog around my block that takes like 2 minutes made me so much more tired and sweaty.

Or just wank it in the bathroom with the hot water running and a sweatsuit.

I would say the rowing machine, because like swimming it uses the most muscles, and there's more resistance than there is in the water.

The bike machine is better than the running.

30 mins of rowing easy.

Have you tried 5 mins on a rowing machine? It all depends on how hard you go. Rowing by far for me, uses every muscle group plus your core muscles. If you're really serious, just ask a trainer at your local gym.

Rowing is good though (Y) works abs good and keeps back strong.

more resistance than there is in the water?

Rowing by far. I've tried it a couple of times, the calorie burner thingy said I was going at 900 calories an hour!!! Running on a machine is maybe about 200-400 an hour depending on how intensely you are running. Biking is less for sure, and swimming doesn't tire me whatsoever, swimming 4 kilometers doesn't feel like a serious workout, and it's hellaboring. With the others you can atleast listen to music!

Errr you dumbass, well sure water has more resistance, but you're flat across the water in the most dynamic position possible. You can raise resistance with a rowing machine.

Water has more resistance sure, but when you swim, you skim over the top of it, not lanky gangly running through water...

Answer: Rowing is better.

haha, you skim on top of it??
yeahhh, sure you do. You swim at what, 50mph or something? Because i'm pretty sure normal people travel through water, not skim on top. I think you're talking about jesus. or doughnutting.

It all depends how intense you are working. If you wanna burn more calories research HIIT training, plus do what you enjoy more then it won't be such a chore to do.

If you have a shallow enough pool (5 - 6 feet), you could run laps in the pool. Works all your limbs like crazy, and you don't overheat or get too tired.

30 Minutes of good ol' bump and grind will make teh calories vanish!

That is a proven fact and a real one at that!

P.s. What more reason could you possibly need!?
