Most of Eruption, Heartbreaker, Cliffs of Dover intro. About it for me. :P

Oh, and Buckethead has a bunch, considering he releases a CD like every day.

So just one guitarist playing them in a song? Or just no other sound layers apart from guitars..

That made me laugh... he's released thirty something hasn't he?

I guess its pretty easy to pump out music as a solo artist

Randy Rhoads solo on Tribute.
Angus Young's live Let There Be Rock solo, and it gets better as he gets older.

Tony Iommi's solo on 'Wicked World' and 'Warning.'

Yess, I love Wicked World's solo.

That has backing.

Led Zep's Heartbreaker is a good one, apparently its what inspired Stevie Vai to pick the instrument up.

the beginning of the solo in Don't Fear The Reaper, i guess it doesn't really go anywhere until the backing comes....but the first part is still cool.

I meant songs that had no backings. Not solos in a song...

Like only 1 instrument playing?

David Gilmour from Pink Floyd did a really mellow and beautiful solo track on Division Bell, though the name escapes me right now.

Marooned, and it is awsome but i think its got keyboard backing.

I know there are some songs that are solos by themselves, but there are also a lot songs that sound good just on guitar. I know this is cliche, but imo Iron Man sounds pretty good without singing and stuff.
