I play a lot of metal and hard rock, which pickup would be better to put in my Epi Les Paul?

Given the options I'd go with the dirty fingers but it's all a matter of opinion. I don't like the sound of high output alinco pickups.
Not taking any online orders.

I'd suggest the Duncan SH-6 Distortion. Great for high-gain.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
