Do you play all the strings with the 5th fret barre?

What does it resolve to?

I'm confused as to how you have 4 note chords fit onto 3 strings.

the 5th fret barre thing is on those strings. i don't know where it resolves and don't have a guitar so i'm of no help at the moment.

I guess I interpreted that wrong, sorry Iron Dude.

Edim7= E, G, Bb, Db
F#dim7= F#, A, C, Eb

4 notes is not a triad.

You could leave the roots of the chords out (which isn't uncommon) but that would mean the bass would have to pick them up.

A diminished triad is two stacked minor thirds. This is a C diminished triad:

E-----
B-7-----
G-8-----
D-10---
A-------
E-------

A dim7 chord is three stacked minor thirds. A Cdim7:

E--5----
B--7----
G--8----
D--10---
A--------
E--------

It doesn't really resolve to anything as it is, but that all fits in with the E WH diminished scale.
