So,I got a new Marshall very happy with it!
=]
but,
i got a few questions.
1.If i put my chorus/Echo pedal in the effects loop,
will it make a difference?
2.Its an Mg,so what does the FDD switch do?
3.It has a cd/mp3 line in hole,
what kind of cord goes in there?

1) No, you can put in any effects.
2) Good Question.
3) You can use an MP3 cable to hook up things like iPod's or CD players.

1. Yeah, you're tone won't suck as much.
2. See above.
3. Just any 1/8" cable.

A good idea would be to get this thing back to where you bought it from right away, there are better ways to waste money.

Honestly, don't you people ever get tired of the useless UG schtick? It's an MG. It's not a JCM800. It's his money, chill the **** out.

Thats our job here on GG&A, to prevent people for buying crappy products.

for 600 this guy could have bought a Palmino, A TRAYNOR, a Classic 30, maybe even a used 5150, or a bugera 333xl, or a used XXX combo...

THATS OUR JOB DAMMIT!

Sorry man, it's not a good amp. They have a horrible track record for quality and just plain sound bad. I would take it back if I were you, just because it says marshall doesn't make it good.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

The only other amp they had
was a crate ,but its used,
would it be better?

It's a reversed mid control, turning it up will turn the mids down.
A dwarf might hear you. What then?

1. If you put modulation FX and stuff in the FX loop it will sound better, because otherwise the distortion from the amp will completely crap them out. Chorus in front of diode/transistor clipping = horrible.
2. the FDD switch supposedly makes the speaker respond as though you are using a tube amp, but actually it does **** all except boost the mids a little.
3. It really depends on what connection your cd/mp3 player has. most likely a 1/4" to 1/8" jack.
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.
