Got out of a psych ward today. Slammed my head through a wall at work and suddenly I'm the insane one.

For any and all who may ask: I write for fun, so I don't usually have any clear message in mind that I want to get across when a song is being composed. Usually some pseudo-coherent theme is able to be derived, though. C4C

Ability, reflected by
Tranquility, lean back and sigh
Why does my posture feel so off?

How do you recommend something to a person that you feel nothing for?
Doing the right thing is more disgusting than the blood and gore

Chorus:
But the lines resound through your head
Weighing down heaps of white hot lead
Just to keep you grounded to the floor
Is this really what you meant to ask for?

Every advantage handed on a platter
Just for the china to drop and shatter
Such a fragile state of mind
The stress of ignoring any and all signs

Well, it's not our place
Unless it's to benefit
The human race
That's what we'll keep saying
Whatever let's you rest
Is my motto
But it's shoddy at best

Chorus:
And the lines resound through your head
Weighing down heaps of white hot lead
Just to keep you grounded to the floor
Is this really what you meant to ask for?

How beautiful it is when the pendulum stops
No more momentum left for it to be able to rock
Back and forth upon an endless cycle
Slowly driving us to an early end

Chorus:
But the lines resound through your head
Weighing down heaps of white hot lead
Just to keep you grounded to the floor
Is this really what you meant to ask for?

No, I don't believe so.

[Fade out]

Good or not it fits the music I have so I'm using it. Lackadaisical I may be, but it gets the job done.

I really liked it, well done.

I like kind of random lyrics, it lets the listener put more of their emotions and experiences into it. And they can find ways to relate to it.

once again great job.
