is there any difference in tone between the roland cube 20x and 30x ? some people said that the 20x sounds better

the 20x has completely different settings - i think it models different types of distortion, instead of different amps, and has less effects or something. I don't know which is better but i'd probably prefer the 30x, if i had to choose between the 2.
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.

the 30x deffinately has alot more settings and is nicer. worth getting in my opinion

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
