Everybody's got em, bands you listen to that go beyond your musical "comfort zone", or just bands that would cause most other people to go "what the hell?"

For me i've got Sunn O))) and Gogol Bordello. Both kinda out there compared to the majority of my music, but I love em both. There are probably others but I can't remember them. How about you guys?

Haha as soon as i read this i thought Gogol Bordello. Props threadstarter.

Gogol Bordello is one of my fav bands, most people think theyre kinda weird. They kinda bring wtf-feeling the first time theyre heard.
When I hit 'em from the back, I got them mami's saying dammit man.

When I put it in their mouth, I got them mami's saying duh-huh-huh-muhh.

Primus. My friends think I'm weird for listening to them, I really don't find them that odd, besides, Primus Sucks!!

I listen to mainly classic rock and blues. However, I own all of Modest Mouse's albums and I love their music.

Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains is like a buckethead/primus supergroup. Nice choice!

drmanhattan. cool little electro-alternative-indie-whatever else u wanna call it band from Illinois.

Some of the songs off of Brand New's new album are kinda weird to me.

Some of the chainsaw guitar parts in songs by The Devil Wears Prada are weird.

And the Killers are pretty strange sometimes.

I know, I know, my "wierd" music is all pretty tame.

Anytime I play Primus or any other Claypool stuff, most of my friends respond with "What the **** is this?" Honestly, Primus isn't even that weird, and they're absolutely amazing.

Also, a lot of my friends don't get Flight of the Conchords and always want me to change the CD.

Meshuggah. I cant handle 50 time signature changes.

Actually.. they are considered break-beat because they predominantly use the 4/4 time signature, but have bizarre polyrhythms crammed perfectly into them.
