I recently got a new ibanez vbt700 that has a gibraltar custom bridge. I want to lower the action but im not sure how this bridge works exactly. I checked the ibanez site for the manual but it doesnt contain the information for this brige for some reason. Ive tried turning the screws on the side, but they dont seem to actually do anything.
The Set Up
1- Bc.Rich Nj Series Best w/Emgs
2-Ibanez v-blade, custom snakeskin
3-Fender Stratocaster
4-1986 Charvel Model 5

MXR Phase 90
BBE Sonic Maximizer
Dunlop crybaby original

Well I don't know if you have a Gibraltar II or III bridge but Ibanez's site says that on a Gibraltar II you just loosen or tighten the side screws to raise and lower the action.

Adjusting the String Height.

1. Loosen the heigth adjustment screw (5)
on both sides of the bridge using a #2 Phillips

2. Turn the notched wheel (4) To raise
or lower the bridge.
