This really isn't who's your "favorite" singer. But who are the best of the best singers with a great voice, great range, and great lyrics.

I'll start with Freddy Mercury. (excluded my others)

go..?

EDIT: include the band or whatever they sang in cause I don't know those people.

I'll start with Jack Black, Rivers Cuomo, Freddy Mercury, and Brandon Saller from Atreyu just cause he plays drums and still sounds great singing.

I wouldn't really consider Jack Black or Rivers Cuomo the best singers ever.

More like, Frank Sinatra, Regina Spektor, Brandon Boyd, and Bradley Knowles (kinda a combination of the best and my favorite.)

The only one I would even consider on your list as one of the best singers ever is Freddy Mercury. The rest are okay, except for the guy from Atreyu. He sucks.

Edit: And Mikael from Opeth is another one of the best singers as well. He can growl well and he has a great singing voice.

This is a completely subjective topic, everyone has a different opinion on what a good singer is.
I'm the same as I was when I was six years old

I consider M. Shadows (Avenged Sevenfold) to be the greatest!

Dallas Green (Alexisonfire, Helicon Blue, City And Colour) also has a pretty nice voice...

Not to mention Charlie Simpson (Fightstar, not Busted.)
Howard Jones
Matt Bellemay (spelling?)
Tom Delonge
Ed Bucher
Kurt Cobain

I could go on.
I deeply regret the 6661 in my username. Siiiigh. Damn you, 14 year old me, you edgy little bastard.

Brad Roberts - Crash Test Dummies
Anthony Hegarty - Anthony and the Johnsons
Josh Homme - QOTSA
KT Tunstall
Bob Dylan

Brad Delp - Boston
Lennon/McCartney - Beatles/Solo
Roger Daltrey - The Who
Jack Bruce - Cream(I love his voice, say what you will)
Liam Gallagher - Oasis

Just to name a few...
