jay jay rode his bicycle against the wind for an hour and traveled 15 km. He traveled back the same distance with the wind in 36 minutes. What was the rate of the wind?

anyone here who can help me out?

against the wind
1hour
15km
speed = 15km/hour
therefore distance = 15km

with the wind
15km
36 minutes
speed = 15km/36minutes = 25 km/hour

so if he was going 15km/h in one direction and 25km/h in the other
his speed was 20km/h, the wind is 5km/h

Speed first: 15km/h

Speed second: 15km/36m = 25km/h

Difference = 10km/h

/2 because wind helps one way and hurts the other way = 5km/h

isn't this physics rather than maths

speed equals distance over time sort of thing? Actually I haven't a clue, the joys of higher education are that I don't have to do maths anymore
