i saw this on the electric guitar board but not here. heres how it works you post the hardest song you can play and maybe how long you've been playing if that makes it more impressive. for example if you've been playing for a year and you can play little wing all the way through thats pretty impressive. so heres how it would work.

first post smoke on the water

second post (1/10) smells like teen spirit

third post (2/10) stairway to heaven
and so on

so i'll start it off by saying i've been playing for a year and the hardest song i can play is closer to the sun by slightly stoopid
dave matthews might.. just.. be.. god..

3/10 a lot of electric guitar in that song and the acoustic is repetitive

You've got a friend - James Taylor

grok it.

Listen to jazz, it's good for you...

I guess this would be assuming that we could play it fluently? And shouldnt we focus on acoustic/classical songs here?

Classical Gas by Tommy Emmanuel.

ok something hard to others might be easy to me, and something easy to you might be hard for me...but the song that I feel I have the hardest time with (making it the hardest I can play) is Canon in D the Trace Bundy cover...

Lol I dont know many acoustic songs, I guess the hardest one I know is Tears in Heaven since the rest I know are just chords. I don't expect a high rating, lawl.

The hardest piece is always the one your trying to master now. 38yrs ago for me, it was Greensleeves on a classical guitar. At the moment it's Leo Brouwer's 'Danza Caracteristica'. Getting the timing and melody emphasis right is very difficult [letting the classical slide in favour of the steel string hasn't helped]. Just as difficult as Greensleeves was all those years ago.
