I have some wireless Sennheiser headphones.

The sound quality is amazing.

And also, they're more expensive than Sony. You get what you pay for.
RIP Tom Searle.

it would be nice if they both gave freq. numbers. go to the store and try them out.

I can't vouch for either pair, as I haven't actually used them, but I have used Sony and Sennheiser headphones in the past. Sennheiser are FAR better in my experience.
#6
Couldn't speak for Sony, but the Sennheiser ones I got (which granted were lower end, I would assume) fell apart within a year of heavy use.
#9
The ratings on that website say go for Sennheiser. Your choice.

I personally went for Skullcandy, and they sound brilliant. Not as good as my friend's £300 Sennheisers, but for £35 they're good quality.

Plus they look damn sexy.

I've got the open slightly older version of the Sennheisers

great headphones
#11
I've got a higher end model of the Sennheisers and they are great (HD280 Pro if you want to look them up, they run about $100).
#12
I find Sony's headphones are really good. Can't vouch for Sennheiser.

Also, ignore those saying Skullcandy, most overrated headphones ever and will break easily. If you need anymore convicing, the brand name is ****ing terrible.

I think they are both just about the same in quality but I cant tell until i use them in person...

Sennheiser and Sony are both good brands though. I like the Sennheiser HD280s but the MDR-7509 or 7506 units are also very nice.

Every time someone decides against Sennheiser headphones, an angel loses its hearing.

Go with Sennheiser. If you don't do it for the godlike sound quality, do it for the angels.

I've wanted new headphones for ages. Can I get some recommendations on Sennheiser models perchance? Looking up to about sixty quid maybe a bit more, unless saving up for more expensive models is better, then it shalt be done.

Get skullcandy ones, they're better.

Sennheiser are much better than Sony.

It seems like i should go with the sony ones.

Just kidding. I'll get the sennheisers. I only asked because I've never used headphones from either brand.

Ta.

Sixty quid is like 120 USD right? Check out the Sennheiser HD280 Pro, I have a pair and they are fantastic and you can find them online for around 100 USD.
