I need a pedal for my amp, i just cant get the amount of distortion i want from the old thing.

I think i have narrowed it down to one of these three, but all suggestions are welcomed.

There is this one:

This one:

and finally, this one:
http://www.guitarcenter.com/Electro-Harmonix-Metal-Muff-with-Top-Boost-103840526-i1165447.gc

Im leaning towards the third one, but i want to know if it is worth it.

Metal Muff BY FAR....I bought the other 2 and took them both back and ended up with the MM and it worked great...now I have a 6505 so I don't really need it but it was a good quick fix while I was saving for the amp.

i owned the metal zone for a few years and thought it was a great pedal. then i kept hearing how great the metal muff was blah blah. so i went and bought a metal muff to see just how good it was. daymn there is no comparision the muff hands down. and the top boost is icing on the cake.

WHAT? You have a 450 watt amp??? Is it a PA, or do you enjoy literally making peoples heads vaporize?

and for the sake of being useful: Get the Metal Muff.
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.

Lol...it'll be either be 450 watts peak or power consuption, RMS will be a fair bit lower although it's probably still going to be a fairly hefty amp. Likewise the Gorilla will be an 80 watter - but obviously if you list the bigger number in your sig it makes you moar 1337.
Actually called Mark!

I know it GOES to 11, mine goes to 12. I gig some pretty decent sized halls, and I've never had the opportunity to turn it up past 3, and 4 nearly takes out my windows.

Yeah, its a pretty old amp, made to sound like one that used tubes back in the day. I dont use it though becuase i cant get any distortion on it. It came with a head but My friend has it and i havent gotten it back yet. thats what i need a pedal for. If i crank it all the way up it is heckuva loud.
