Are PRS Tremontis not made by PRS? I seen one and on back of headstock it says made under World Music Industries for PRS. Or something along those lines.

No, they aren't made in the USA PRS factory. They're made in the WMI factory in Korea, like the headstock says.

MK guitars are also made in Korea, probably at the same factory as your PRS or maybe at Cort's factory, where most Ibanez's come from, or maybe Samick's factory, where Samick is made and Epiphone used to be made.

PRS's SE line is very, very good. I reveiwed a Singlecut SE for FrugalGuitarist.com and it is excellent. I could care less what country makes a guitar, I care how it feels under my fingers and how it sounds...

Did you know. In one of the total guitar magazines, on the last page Mark (is that his name) tremonti was holding his guitar in a pose look. then on the back cover was the mobile porn adds. One girl is holding marks guitar in it.

I can get a MK Patriot Black for $300 less than the PRS Tremonti here

The black sounds nicer based on what I have heard online (also look a freckle cooler). But someone mentioned the upper fret access is not as good as a les paul due to the angle of the singlecut......

Thoughts? MK or PRS SE
