Of JJ EL34L tubes. When replacing them, doe sit matter where they go in the sockets? All four tubes are balanced together.

Sorry about all the tube questions I've been asking but I'm saving a fair amount of money without taking it to a tech

Also, while you are here, whats with the V1 V2 etc etc in the preamp
and the Phase Inverter?

V1, V2 etc just refer to the different positions of preamp tubes. The Phase Inverter is more or less used in the power amp and smooths out the preamp gain.

Do the preamp tubes have to be balanced or anything?
If so which ones have to be balanced.
