ok soo i f***ed up bad on my choice for an amp

I recently bought the microcube amp and it rocks and i love it but it lacks a big thing.
being able to switch from clean to distortion with a footswitch.....

i want to play my guitar and post videos on youtube and all of the songs i play require changes from clean to distortion, soo now i have a kick ass amp with no footswitch ability and any effects pedals that go into the microcube suck

soo i was thinking of gettign a cheep amp and buying a pedal, i dont gig and probably wont for a while soo is this combo pretty good i mean mg series suck but with effects pedals could it workout?

if not what other combinations that are cheep could i go for?

An effects pedal won't make it sound better, the cube is better than an MG.

You could sell the microcube and get a bigger cube with a footswitch.

Actually... I found that with my effects processor, the MG had usable tone. But one pedal alone isn't going to get the job done.

Don't go with an MG. Find something much better in the price range. The MG is just not worth it. You can get much better tone elsewhere.

The MG15DFX is like, $180?

Okay... so if we look for other stuff in that price range, you can probably also get:

Just... for the love of god... don't resort to an MG.

And I wasn't telling you to get an effects processor with your MG, because I didn't think you were going to spend that much anyway. If that's what it seemed like. I was just pointing out that the only way to get an MG sounding decent is to cover everything up with effects.

Do you already have the pedal, or are you in the market for a pedal, too?
