How much are you guys paying for full guitar setups?

The one technician.. and i think the only technician in my local area is chargin £30 for a full setup no matter how little or how much needs doing.

Just want to know how much people in other areas or countries get charged.
Oh and i live in the North-East of England.

(my Deluxe Strat is giving me tuning issues when i use the Tremolo and i believe its the bridge)

Thanks

30 pounds sounds about right for a full, I get charged $50.

Speaking of setups, I'm putting a strat together from parts, probably putting 11's on it, how should I start adjusting the neck? Anything special I need to do or just start cranking the truss rod back?

I was in a nu-metal band when I was 15. I hated the top 3 strings (G,B, and E). I wondered why guitars even had them.

Heres a good guide to adjusting the truss rod and most other bits of a guitar.

I've been trying to adjust the itonation on my guitar and got every string tuned perfect until i came to the small e string, the 12th fret plays a d# and the saddle is turned as far as it can go, i am completely stuck on what to do. HELP.

The guy I know charges $30.

I upped myne to 11's a few months ago and it helped with this tuning issue a bit.
anyway...

All i needed to do was tighten the truss rod a bit.
Check that the strings aren't too low by putting a capo on the first fret.. fretting the very end note, usually a 22 or 21 on a strat.. and put one of those playing cards between the string [whichever] and the fret on the 8th fret.

It shouldn't be touching otherwise the truss rod is probably too tight. Found this on a guide on the net but can't remember where. Works perfectly i reckon.

40 to fix intonation + fret buzz and re string to a pair of 13s and tune to drop b along with a truss rod adjustment, the guy did a perfect job he even stretched the strings for me
