Ok, so this isn't about money at all, I probably don't have enough but I'm still working up a fund, but I think it'll be good to know what I'm after before so that I can make sure it's available for me when I'm ready.

I already have an Electric Guitar, an Ibanez GRX20. so I was thinking, should I get:

1) An Epiphone SG (Favourite style in favourite colour) Alpine White, for 600

http://www.guitarcenter.com/Epiphone-Limited-Edition-G-400-Electric-Guitar-with-EMG-Pickups-519397-i1167509.gc

2) An acoustic electric (Don't have a specific one yet, any recommendations would be great, around 200-300$) but I like this one

http://www.guitarcenter.com/Dean-V-Coustic-Thin-Body-Acoustic-Electric-Guitar--Natural-512910-i1171857.gc

3) Get a bass and an amp and teach myself some bass on top of electric guitar, again, totaling around 600$. Example:

and
http://www.guitarcenter.com/Marshall-MB30-Bass-Combo-Amp-480304-i1169654.gc

So can anyone help me choose?

Or give me some better suggestions around the same price range of 400-600$?

That was be greeeeeatly appreciated

People knew this was coming. Ditch the MG and get a good amp. Just my thoughts. I like the alpine white SG but buy a used tube amp and really help your quest for TONAL WORLD DOMINATION! Sorry too much red bull...
I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.

What is your amp?

I really wish I could say you're funny and cool, but that would be like saying Africa doesn't have a poverty problem.

If you aren't disgusted by your current guitar then I must suggest a new amp. Nothing makes you wanna play more than a nice sounding amp.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

4.) Buy a decent amp. Preferably tube, and certainly not a Marshall MG. Or a Line 6 Spider.
Schecter Gryphon; Ibanez AEG20E
Peavey Rage 158 ; TRAYNOR YCS50
EHX Big Muff Pi; Dunlop CryBaby GCB-95 (modded); MXR M-108 10-band; DigiTech JamMan Looper

Depends, what do you play? Thats more of a classic rock amp I've heard.

Heavier Rock usually (Metallica, etc), but some classic (Boston) and a few slower songs (Broken - Seether)

that kinda stuff

I've heard it can do metallica with an OD. What's your budget? There might be something better in your price range.

I probably (keyword, probably) have around 500 right now, possibly less, but this isn't for exactly this second, so I'll have more by the time I'm ready to get something

Well, how high would you go? Spending more now will save you money in the long run since you won't have to upgrade. Are you planning on gigging?

I don't know for either : /

I don't know if I'm gonna gig, I usually play that by ear

And for price, I don't know, if it's a really good amp and it'll last me a while then it's probably worth spending a bit more..

http://toronto.en.craigslist.ca/tor/msg/748349630.html Go try this out. Save a little cash for effect pedals should you need them.

http://toronto.en.craigslist.ca/tor/msg/739818875.html oh Oh! I hate you! Wow. Try that out.

http://toronto.en.craigslist.ca/tor/msg/739818875.html Shameless plug, that's one of my amps, but I got mine for $350.. Sorry had to. Good luck.
