So i recently came across a Crate Bt-100 amp, and was wondering if anyone could give me any info on it

Theyre absolutely fantastic if you dont have a huge budget and need somethin to hold you off for a while. Fair volume, great distortion feature, affordable.
I wouldnt suggest it for a long term situation though.

I own the BT-50. The only thing I have a problem with is the built in distortion, which I find to be completely ****ty. it sounds really thin and weak, even though it keeps the clean signal running underneath it.

I love the distortion!
The only thing is, it only sounds good when the footswitch is not plugged in. When it is, it just sounds like light fuzz over top of your playing.
When the footswitch isnt in though, you can get some really good distortion out of it.

They are a waste of money.
Low volume, horrible distortion, overpriced AND unreliable.

Don't go near it.
