critting while I listen here.

It's a cool riff. the drums are really good sounding. I like your tone and hate it all at the same time. it's thin and thick all at the same time. I like the melody. It sounds great the recording quality is amazing. I like how it goes into the clean part it's really cool. You need to clean up your clean playing just a tad. the litte strings thing during the clean part after the lead is off time in a couple of places. your intonation or your tuning seems to be just a BIT off during the little lead break after the clean part but that might be cause it's double tracked. Overall great job sounds good. the recording quality is excellent.

9.5/10 (no ones perfect)

Thanks dude! Ya it's a little sloppy but I did it all in a few takes, just to get some quick feedback on the ideas I had. I'm not a fan of the distortion tone either, it's going thru my MXR dime distortion which is not a very good pedal. And good call on the intonation issue...I just got the guitar and that's one of the first things I realized I should fix.

Thanks again, I'll take a listen to one of yours now.

Pretty much have the same to say as the others. The intonation sounded a little off. I did LOVE the little interlude/bridge where everything really changed tone about 2/3 the way through it. Really good stuff. And it was nice how you brought the melody from the beginning back around at the end. Only crit that I've got is that the drums were BEGGING for some good fills. BEGGING!

Hey guys so I fixed some of those problems...re-recorded the solo so it's now in time, got my Schecter setup so the intonation is a little better, used my blackstar for distortion, and made the drums a little more realistic, give it a listen? I'll get you back!! I changed the name to "Revolution", but it's still the first track.

Wow, this is really good. Are you playing the drums?

I loved the first riff. And it sounded really cool when the rythm guitar came in. Really good tone. You should add bass though.

I loved the lead at 0:49. It sounds totally awesome. What effects are you using on that? It sounded like there was some wah on there.

Wow, all these leads are awesome.

I liked the clean section. Really good solo. A little bit of audible string rattle, but it's no big deal. This drum beat is starting to ge a little old though.

Yeah, that was great. Except for the fac that the drums got really repetetive, I really digged it. Good job 9/10.

Crit mine? https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=912121
