Hey

I have gotten a few new pedals to my rig now, but have not yet been able to test them out(my amp is in a studio atm), but I was wondering what the “correct” way to set them up would be.

Amp:
Engl Screamer 50
(use dist from amp)

Pedals:
Wah
EQ
Compressor
Noicegate
Tuner
Visual sound H2O (chorus/echo pedal(haven’t got this yet, but it’ll come))

So what should be between guitar and amp, and what should go in effect chain?

Thanks.

1 Wah
2 H20
3 Noise gate
4 Compressor
5 EQ
6 Tuner

basically its up to u but i would generally have the dynamic ones Eq- compre ones near the end so that the wah and other modulators can get through it as well

I'd go with:

Noise gate either at the end of your effect chain right before goin into the amp, OR in the effect loop.
If you just leave your EQ on permanently, try that in the effects loop too.
Compressor can also be good in the effects loop; trial and error would be good for this.
Wah + tuner would generally go at the beginning of your effects chain, it's up to you which way round you put them.

My suggestions are just coming from my own usage.

I would personally run them like this:

Tuner -> wah -> compressor -> EQ -> guitar input

H2O -> noisegate through the effects loop

Or maybe the noisegate before the H20, and the tuner wouldn't have to be in front of the wah.
