I just got a Peavey Valve King 112 Combo Amp for 170+ 40 dollars shipping. Did I get ripped or did I get a bargain? Just wondering.. I did it spur of the moment

Small stain in the front, but I can get it out.

He he he. Preying on the old folk is fun.

This guy's parents had a garage sale and sold their son's amp. They gave me mate a receipt, and the son came round to get it back. He failed.

My mate sold it for 300 bucks. Made a hefty profit their!

hell ya, thats a really sweet deal. Thats kinda why I bought this Peavey, if I don't like it, I can sell it and atleast get my money back and then some. It ended up coming to 210 after all the payments.

Btw, im playing right now on a starter pack amp that is like 30 dollars XD.. I deff upgraded. Now all I need is the sweet guitar..

Nice work on a value amp there - as you say, all you need now's a decent guitar. Anything in particular seem interestin'?
The rig:
Gibson SG faded special -> Marshall MG 50/100 (working on a valve amp)

Well, right now I need to save a little bit. That was stil a lot for me. I wasn't even planing on getting it till I saw its low price for the used amp. Ima use this guitar for prob another 6 months or so, I should be able to make enough for a good guitar by then. I wanna get a wah wah peddal first too, so im on the lookout for a used one first, b4 the guitar.

You can make a ****ty guitar sound better with a better amp, but even the most amazing guitars would of sounded like **** in my practice amp. I think I spent the money the right way.
