Good band.

I only have The Quite Offspring, which has more of a hard rock sound than the other albums, but I've heard other songs, including Light of Day, Day of Darkness.

Really good band, I'll be looking for more of their stuff soon.

I've only heard Light of Day, Day of Darkness, and just recently at that, but it was some piece of music. I'll be looking into The Quiet Offspring and Acoustic Verses here soon, as those seem to be their more popular ones.

Amazing fucking band. Light of Day, Day of Darkness is a masterpiece, and everything released after it slays.

Journey to the End of Night is quite different, but very good as well.

I like what I've heard of them so far.

I gotta' say, some bands suck at making extremely long songs, but Green Carnation's Light of Day, Day of Darkness ( and almost everything done by Loss of a Child ) rock.

A Blessing In Disguise is one of my alltime favourite albums, it's amazing

I love Green Carnation, if you like Acoustic Verses, I'm sure you'll enjoy the Night Under The Dam DVD

I... I should return to Arkham.

Green Carnation are a brilliant band and I'm proud to say I own every release by them. They've changed their sound on every album but I think they're all great. It is really sad that they had to break up, especially since the rest of the bandmembers started to contribute a lot of material after LODDAD. I hope Tchort will one day realise Green Carnation is the best work he has ever done and releases the second part of the Doom Chronicles already!

I definitely need to get another album from these guys soon. What do you guys suggest?

If you have The Quiet Offspring, the logical way to go would be either A Blessing In Disguise or The Acoustic Verses. Since you've heard Light of Day, Day of Darkness already, I'd go with A Blessing In Disguise.

Top-quality band, Acoustic Verses is my favorite acoustic album from any band, and the rest of their work typically showcases strong songwriting and great melodic sense. A shame they aren't gonna be doing anything new for a long time.

I've been listening to them more lately and I am really digging them more than I did before.

I love the singer, but...

I doubt I'd listen to this band more than, say, once or twice a week.

I downloaded Acoustic Verses the other day, I've enjoyed it quite a bit. The Burden Is Mine... Alone is such a great song.

"Light of Day, Day of Darkness" is one of the finest albums ever released within, or outside of, the realms of metal.
"The Acoustic Verses" ain't too shabby either.

By far my favorite band. I have Light of Day, Day of Darkness, Blessing in Disguise, The Quiet Offspring, and Acoustic Verses. I'm also hoping to get their concert DVD A Night Under the Dam for my birthday. It's a damn shame they aren't going to release anything new for a while. -_-

I only have LODDOD, and it's great! Revive?

^Get some of their other albums, they're all worth it!

I still don't get why they broke up, over money? If you really want to make music together, just do it. Something tells me there was something else going on. I believe Tchort is working on the new Carpathian Forest right now but his work with both CF and Blood Red Throne pales to Green Carnation.
