Ok, well I have just gotten a new guitar, ESP Horizon FR-II. I have been playing for about 4 years, mostly metal music, I occasionally do some gigs with my friends, and I play everyday. I want an amp that is good for jamming, and small gigs. I was thinking VHT 50 CL or a Mesa, any suggestions on what amp to get?

what type of music do you play?

Right now I'm looking at buying B-52 amp. They're called "the poor man's mesa boogie." Also, stay far away from Line 6 Spiders.

I have a variety. I play technical metal and stuff like Children of Bodom, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, also some classic rock like guns n roses.
